Live performance and theater arts fans will be kept entertained throughout the rest of the year (until the next!) as Lunchbox Theatrical Productions and Concertus Manila--the folks who've brought in top musicals such as The Phantom Of The Opera, and Wicked to Manila--reveals its exciting lineup of shows set to be staged in the metro. 1. Singin' In The Rain
After a sell-out West End season and a major UK tour, the spectacular musical production based on the iconic 1952 MGM movie made famous by Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds is going to be staged in Manila for the first time. Don't miss the actual part where they will really be singin' in the rain, with the aid of 12,000 litres of water used for each and every show!
When: Opens August 20, 2015 (Thursday) with shows on Tuesdays, Wednesdays,  Thursdays, Fridays (8pm) and Weekends (Saturday-Sunday 3pm and 8pm) until September 6, 2015 (Sunday).

2. La Soirée
The box-office-smashing, Olivier award-winning 11 year old cabaret and variety show is making history by setting stage in Asia for the very first time this year, and Manila will soon enjoy this limited engagement that has traveled to cities like New York, Paris, Montreal, Stockholm, London, and Sydney. Imagine it as a sexy, more magical and show-stopping Moulin Rouge! with highly-skilled artists from around the world.

3. Louis Pearl: The Amazing Bubble Man
Art, magic, science, and fun bubbles combine when the Amazing Bubble Man himself makes his first ever visit to Manila in September. It's a bubble show unlike any other you have seen, as famous professional bubbler Louis Pearl will astound you with magical things like square bubbles, layers of bubbles inside bubbles (bubble-ception!), fog-filled bubbles, volcano bubbles, people inside bubbles, even flying UFO bubbles!

4. Beyond The Barricade
Think the best of the best, a 'greatest hits' of all musicals staged in one glittering concert. For one evening in October, past principal performers from Les Misérables will dazzle audiences with hit songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Jersey Boys, Evita, WickedMiss Saigon, West Side Story, Mamma Mia, and more--climaxing with a spectacular finale from Les Misérables. Musical theater geeks should not miss this one.

5. Cookin' NANTA
Lovers of fun noise and percussion overload (STOMP fans, anyone?) should not miss out on this energetic spectacle that is Korea's number 1 non-verbal show. Watch how 'chef' performers take center stage to transform knives and other kitchen utensils into musical instruments -- it's an acrobatic kitchen show complete with a dumpling challenge that ends with a powerful drum striking number.

6. KidsFest Manila 2016: Gruffalo, Aliens Love Underpants, and Dinosaur Zoo
Two well-loved children's books are translated into stage and dinosaurs come to life at Kidsfest Manila in 2016: three shows will delight the family in a festival celebrating world class theater for young people. 'Gruffalo' is adapted from the book by Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler while 'Aliens Love Underpants' is based on the book by Claire Freedman & Ben Cort; while 'Dinosaur Zoo' is a prodcution direct from the West End that brings prehistoric creatures onstage for an imaginative and hilarious live show. Kids and kids at heart can even  ‘meet & greet’ with the dinosaurs after the show.
