PINTIG: A Family Concert from the Heart

PINTIG: A Family Concert from the Heart is a conscious effort to bring in a new musical language that is rooted in what is truly Filipino interspersed with world culture---showcasing Philippine Indigenous Music, classical Western repertoire, Broadway, standards, and modern songs.

The musical landscape will move from past through the indigenous bamboo instruments to classical to modern - as an experience of the evolution of our time. Also, it is an event where the gap between performer and audience is closed through community singing and performance. As such, global warming and disasters referred to as the "new normal" can best be addressed through conscious community building in sounds and silences.
