The 23rd Aliw Awardee nominee and the 2012 National Music Competition for Young Artists 1st Prize winner, soprano Myramae Meneses will hold her first major solo concert under the auspices of MCOF Young Artists’ Series on October 2, 2013 at the Ayala Museum, Makati Ave. cor. De la Costa St, Makati City at 7 in the evening.
At a very young age of 18, she was the youngest among the NAMCYA participants to be awarded the lone top prize in 2010 National Music Competition for young artists, the highest level fro the National Vocal Competition. This lead some some guest performances with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and the Manila Symphony Orchestra. Last year, she essayed the role of Maria Clara in Noli Me Tangere : The Opera by Felipe de Leon at the Dulaang UP. She was Nominated by the Aliw Award as the "Most Outstanding Young Actress in a Musical".
A student of the foremost soprano today, Camille Lopez Molina, Myramae is a member of the Viva Voce and has performed in opera production in the country including MusicArtes Puccini's Madama Butterfly and LyricOpera's Bizet's Carmen.
