Aerosmith : The Global Warming World Tour

Aerosmith, recognized as the greatest American rock 'n' roll band of all time, is finally coming to the Philippines and will play their first Southeast Asia show in history in Manila at the Mall of Asia Arena this May 8.
The historic performance, which represents the most important performance by one of the most iconic rock bands in the world today, will see the classic AEROSMITH line up composed of the inimitable Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer.

Metropolitan Opera in HD: L'elisir D' Amore

The Cultural Center of the Philippines, The Opera Foundation of the Philippines and The Metropolitan Opera, New York presents Metropolitan Opera in HD: L'elisir D' Amore on May 28, 2013 at CCP Little Theater.
Anna Netrebko and Matthew Polenzani star in one of the greatest comic gems in opera, as the fickle Adina and her besotted Nemorino. Intensive Introductory Workshop for Guitar Players

The "Jazz Woodshed" is an intensive introductory workshop for guitar players, hosted by the Arts Department of the University of Asia and the Pacific Campus featuring Jonathan Gonzales.
The workshop will be a great opportunity to explore standards, improvise beautifully, and learn to play tight with other musicians. UA&P has a solid Liberal Arts curriculum that gives importance to the education of the senses. OYAYI Healing Through Music - A Series Workshops and Dialogues

Studies have proven that music is a natural healer. It has the power to enhance emotional, cognitive and physical wellness. People have likewise used music to improve self-esteem and promote personal growth and development.
From April 30 to May 2, 2013, the public has the opportunity to explore the possibilities of music and voice therapy through OYAYI, a series of workshops and dialogues. Stephan Kuehne, a music therapist and educator from Germany, will be leading workshop participants through the morning experiential sessions from 8:30-11:30 on Music Therapy for Children (Day 1), Indigenous Music and Healing (Day 2), and Voice Therapy for Adults (Day 3).

Lopez Memorial Museum celebrates the birth month of National Artist for Music and Literature Levi Celerio with an event dubbed “Off the Ground: an afternoon of music, poetry and visual arts” on April 27 (Saturday) from 4 to 6pm.
“Off the Ground” features Soprano Elainne Marie Vibal who will sing selected songs by Celerio and will be accompanied by a quintet of music scholars from the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth. Cecile Licad : The Pianist's Pianist

Renowned classical pianist Cecile Licad and The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, led by its music director Gerard Salonga, will come together to perform in a concert that must not be missed.

Dubbed “The Pianist's Pianist” after the name given to Cecile by well-known American magazine The New Yorker, the concert will be held on June 29 (Saturday), 8pm at the Main Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

This will be the third time Licad and Salonga will be teaming up. Their previous concert earned rave reviews and was even recognized at the Aliw Awards as Best Concert Collaboration.

With Licad’s brilliant skills and the remarkable blend of talents in the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Salonga, it will surely be a musical treat.

WWF Philippines Doodle Day : A Safer World for Our Wildlife

The Metropolitan Opera series in high definition (HD) continues on April 16, 2013 with Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (Little Theater) at earlier time slots of 2:00pm and 7:00pm.

Rigoletto is the second of five encore performances of the latest season of The Met presented by the CCP and the Metropolitan Opera (The Met) in cooperation with the Opera Guild Foundation of the Philippines.

2013 Vibe Dance Studio Summer Workshop

A young and energetic dance group is making their mark in the international hip-hop scene.Recently they've won Borneo Streetdance Champion in Kota Kinabalu.
Another feat is that they swept all categories and places in Cheer da Crowdz Malaysia garnering 12 trophies. They have won international competitions in 2007 Asia Pacific Dance Masters in Malaysia and 2008 silver medalist World Streetdance Championship in Netherlands. They have performed in such prestigious shows as Battle of the Year, Singapore New Year Countdown and Hong Kong Times Square.
