The
Harlequin Theatre Guild of De La Salle University brings to life this
March a celebrated novel by Palanca Award winner Vicente Groyon,
translated for the stage by Tim Dacanay.
This piece tells the story of how a disturbing phone call in the dead of the night launches young Rafael Torrecarion on a rescue mission in Bacolod. Returning to his hometown leads him deep into the tortured history of the Torrecarions, where lies a web of long-buried secrets, preserving, and threatening the foundations of the family.
The production is directed by Aliw Awards nominee Mr. Raffy Tejada and will also be starring Mr. Toby Alejar as George Torrecarion.
