A Mi Patria Film Screening in UP Film Center

 
DLS-CSB School of Deaf Education and Applied studies will hold a showing of A MI PATRIA (To my Motherland) the first ever interpretation of Rizal's poetry in Filipino Sign Language on February 2. Mr. Jose Rizal Lopez, grandson of Paciano Rizal, is the event's special guest
Originally entitled "Mga Natatanging Tula ni Rizal sa Wikang Senyas," and translated in English, Spanish and Filipino, A mi Patria was produced by Miryad Vision in Collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, University of the Philippines - Kolehiyo ng Arte at Kultura and DLS-CSB SDEAS with Direction and editing by Miranamedina.

Tickets for A MI PATRIA are available at CPD Office, PEN Office, 1/F Duerr Building, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Taft Campus.

Proceeds of the ticket sales will go to the Deaf Scholarship fund and several Deaf organizations.
