Robinsons
Supermarket Corporation and CDO Foodsphere, Inc. is back for another
year of Christmas Carols. This year’s chorale competition, entitled
“Holiday Musical 2012”, is open to teenage choir groups composed of
12-20 members, aged 13-19 years old.
The contest will search for the best chorale group in each region. The Holiday Musical 2012 Caravan will start on November 7, 2012 at Robinsons Supermarket Imus and is followed by Robinsons Supermarket General Santos on November 21, 2012, Robinsons Supermarket Cebu on November 23, 2012, and Robinsons Supermarket Palawan on December 6, 2012.
The last leg for the regional caravan will be in Robinsons Supermarket Pangasinan on December 12, 2012. The Manila leg will have separate dates for the eliminations, which will occur on November 14, 2012 at Robinsons Supermarket Galleria and at on November 19, 2012 at Robinsons Metroeast. Grand Finals for the Manila leg will happen on December 14, 2012 at Robinsons Place Manila.
Qualifying groups are required to perform at least 3 of their own song choices as well as an original rendition of “All I want for Christmas is You.” A special segment of their performance must also highlight Robinsons Supermarket and CDO Holiday Ham through a musical skit. Participants are highly encouraged to enhance performance through dance, acting and other gimmicks.
