“A Crack in the Hull” by Ronald Ventura is the banner piece for MANILART ’12, the largest visual arts fair in the country today.
Now on its fourth year, it gathers more than forty of the top art galleries nationwide representing over five hundred artists. This five- day exposition seeks to be a destination art event in Asia showcasing the best that the visual art scene has to offer, including some of the most sought-after names in Philippine art which have developed an international following in recent years.
MANILART ’12 is slated to run from October 3 to October 6, 2012 at the SM Exhibition Center (SMX) in Pasay City. It is presented by the Bonafide Art Galleries Organization (BAGO, Inc.) and supported by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (ncca.gov.ph).
