Antonio Parish (SSAP) presents FRANCISFEST with David Benoit, happening
on October 3, 2012, 8PM at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
An annual fundraising event, FRANCISFEST helps support the SSAP Foundation’s educational, medical and prison ministries, as well as its various outreach projects.
This year, contemporary jazz pianist, conductor, composer and five-time Grammy nominee David Benoit shares his talent to this worthy cause.
Since launching his recording career in 1977, David Benoit’s expansive career as a contemporary jazz pianist and composer has included over 25 solo recordings.
David has also worked on prominent Charlie Brown related projects (Here’s to You, Charlie Brown: 50 Great Years; The Star-Studded 40 Years: A Charlie Brown Christmas) and has several orchestral music endeavors under his name. These include his ongoing role as conductor of the Asia America Symphony Orchestra and leading such eminent orchestras as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the symphonies of London, Nuremberg, San Francisco, Atlanta, San Antonio and San Jose.
Joining David is retro and soul band Mulatto.
Tickets are available at the SSAP Parish Office (843 8830-35) at Php7,000 (VIP - inclusive of cocktails at 6:30 PM), Php5,000 (Premiere - inclusive of cocktails at 6:30 PM) and Php3,000 (De Luxe - exclusive of cocktails).
