Mindanao Directing Workshop for Theater Artists

The Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG), through a grant from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) for the theatre development initiatives of the National Committee for Dramatic Arts, will conduct a workshop in Directing for Mindanao theatre artists from April 30 – May 11, 2012. 

The Mindanao Directing Workshop is an intensive basic course on the craft of directing for the stage that addresses the needs of directors of repertory groups based in Mindanao. The course involves the application of theories and dramaturgy culminating in performance showcases.  

Eight (8) Fellows will be awarded with grants that will include free tuition, board and lodging, transportation allowance, books and references, and the services of an actors pool for their recital. Non-Fellows will pay a tuition fee of five thousand pesos (P5,000.00).
